Data Echeveria collects

  1. Your account information, such as your password, email, username, profile picture, and your friendlist.
  2. Data that is shared with other users, such as the contents of the messages you send through our service and your friend requests.
  3. Server data, such as the number of visitors for different periods, the pages that are visited, and the IP of the visitors.
  4. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

How we use your information

  1. The A class data, that is account information, is used for logging in, sending password reset emails, displaying your profile picture and username for other users, and so on. That is, only what is required for the application to function.
  2. The B class data is not used for anything else than delivering messages and notifications to the user they are sent to. However, the browser they are sent to usually uses a third party service to deliver the notification.
  3. The C class data is used to monitor server health. We will only use this data to detect if something has gone wrong.
  4. The D class data is stored on cock.li mailservers.
None of the information is shared with third parties, except for the B, and D class data, as explained above.

Cookies

If you choose to accept cookies, the Echeveria site uses one cookie to remember that you accepted cookies, and one in order to authenticate users. Echeveria creates only these two strictly necessary cookies, and uses no other cookies than these two. Without cookies, the users will be unable to log in.
